Vocal Performance Auditions
Thank you for your interest in the Vocal Performance program at the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment. To join the vocal performance program, you must 1) apply and be granted admission to LIU and 2) audition for the vocal performance program.

Audition Guidelines
Audition In-Person
Students may audition in-person at any of the LIU Open Houses or fairs listed above. Register here.
Auditions must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Please prepare two pieces of contrasting styles (i.e., one ballad and one up-tempo). You may submit existing media that showcases your work and ability taken in the previous 12 months.
- Pieces may be covers or originals.
- Self-accompaniment and the use of tracks are acceptable.
- Please limit the length of your audition to 1-3 minutes, approximately 16-32 bars for each selection.
- All audition material must be in English.
Audition by Submission
Students may audition by submission using Acceptd. Audition materials must meet the following criteria to be considered:
